STO Logistics celebrated the start of September by increasing the size of their fleet with two new vans.
The two Peugeot Boxer vans have brand new 70 registration plates, which became available from Tuesday 1 September. Vehicle rental company U-Drive kindly supplied the Peugeot vans from their Cardiff office.
The owner of STO Logistics said: “We are delighted to be growing our fleet with these two new vans, working in partnership with locally-based U-Drive, who are a family business just like we are.”
”After considering all of the vans on the market, we decided to go with the Peugeot Boxer. These vans are perfect for courier companies like us. Peugeot Boxers are reliable and sturdy with lots of space, making them ideal for travelling long distances as well as carrying heavy and irregular sized goods for all of our customers.”
Courier companies need to replace their vehicles on a regular basis. Older vans have an increased risk of breaking down, making them less reliable. When delivering products and goods for customers, courier vans need to be as dependable as possible, so that products and goods are delivered on time.
Newer vehicles also cost less to repair and maintain, making overheads lower and ensuring cost savings can be passed directly to customers. The announcement of these new vans comes at the end of a fantastic year for STO Logistics, who recently celebrated becoming independent contractors for both DPD and Royal Mail.
